Before you delete
Save any records you need before deleting. If you use Premium, you can save a list of your items as a CSV from “Export data” in the app's Settings. Photos and memories aren't included in the CSV.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.
If you share a household, the owner must first remove its members. You can't remove members on this page: remove them in the app, or ask us by the form or by email. If you ask by the form or by email, also write “I agree to removing the members.” in your reply to the confirmation email, and we'll remove the members before deleting. The household and everything in it are deleted with your account. What you added, including photos and documents, to households you joined as a member stays in those households.
Main information deleted
- Your Monogoo account linked to your Google or Apple sign-in
- Households, items, prices, tags, memories, history and insurance settings
- Saved photos and documents, notification settings and consent records
Information kept for a while after deletion
- App usage data
- After your account is deleted, the app usage data sent to Google Analytics is deleted from the operator's copy, and Google is asked to delete it. This is done again 8 days later for records that arrive late. Google deletes it when Google decides, and reports already aggregated aren't deleted. Until the second round is done, the analytics ID, the app instance ID and the processing status are kept to send the request again (usually within 9 days).
- Deletion record
- To confirm that the deletion finished, a minimal deletion record without your content is kept for 30 days.
- Backups for recovery
- To recover from failures or mistakes, deleted data stays in the recovery history and backups, and photo and document files stay hidden, for up to 7 days, and then disappear automatically.
- Sign-in credentials
- Complete deletion from systems including backups may take up to 180 days.
If any information must be kept by law, we'll tell you what it is and for how long. For details, see the Privacy Policy.
